JOB SUMMARY:

This role supports China Retail for inventory optimization by markets/ channels/stores to support merchandising, planning, allocation, and financial objective send-to-end. Key responsibilities are to support store growth, reposition, conversion,and closure projects, etc. Provide advanced analytics and analysis to drive markets/ channels business gross, gross market and innovations. Also collaborates with cross functional team to ensure appropriate actions are executed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Maintain weekly reports updates upon sales, inventory, receipts results with accuracy;
  • Consolidate, analyze and location-based performance in a timely manner, including sales/ inventory comparisons, seasonality and marketing impacts;
  • From data and facts base, give guidance on merchandising strategies in terms of cc# rationalization, products architecture and investment depth of various products distro on seasonal base;
  • Coordinate on monthly OTB-process to ensure seamless data base from production, logistic, planning and allocation term as guidance of receipts and cost;
  • Strong partnership with merchant planning, distribution, logistics, store ops, IT and strategy team to optimize inventory structure, maximize the business profit and eliminate inefficiencies during entire products life cycle, from product introduction to markets till liquidation management.
  • Partner with China Growth strategy to accommodate an up-to-date and flexible inventory strategy via proactive actions and team works.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Required knowledge,skills & abilities:

  • 4+years of professional experience preferably in business strategy, FMCG/ fashion retail/apparel industry or consulting firms;
  • Advanced data analysis skills, programming, & data engineering/mining
  • Possesses a thorough working knowledge of BI systems and spreadsheets
  • Strong capability to deliver logic and convincing presentations, clearly identifying business issues and decisions in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Good attention to detail, work well under pressure, prioritize loading to meet deadlines and business objectives
  • Enthusiastic and pro-active team player
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Minimum Education Level

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in Finance,Economics or Marketing Analytics, IT engineering, MBA qualification will be aplus.
