- Functionally reports to Head of Global Technical Support

- SUMMARY OF JOB CONTENTS
- The regional technical support engineer for control & fieldbus is responsible for providing quick and accurate response to all technical enquiries from our client’s Companies in Asia Pacific, predominantly related to fieldbus technology for valve terminals from PLC/IPC market leaders such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi, etc.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing technical support regarding control & fieldbus technology to our client's Companies in Asia Pacific
- Independent handling of technical queries/problems related control & fieldbus technology
- Communicating quickly, reliably and effectively with our client's Companies in Asia Pacific
- Advising our client's Companies on the use of these components and systems in a wide range of applications and industries
- Working in close cooperation with Technical Support in HQ (TSHQ)
- Supporting the SECs in Asia Pacific for control / fieldbus related service calls and commissioning jobs
- Preparing and holding technical training sessions for the Our client’s Companies in Asia Pacifi
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors or Masters, Technical University Degree (mechatronics, electrical or electronic Engineer)
- Knowledge of PLC programming & fieldbus technology
- Ethernet relating predominantly to CoDeSys
- Siemens STEP 7
- Allen Bradley, & Omron
- Either experience in special purpose machine building or in commissioning of and programming of PLCs.
