Job Description


REPORTS TO: Regional Director Asia (based in Singapore)


DIRECT REPORTS: 4 (Sales Manager, Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou)


What will you do?



  • Develop and execute strategies and plans to drive sustainable sales and profit growth through correct Omni Channel Strategy: e-Commence, Social Commerce, Retail, Pharmacy, Foodservice and open market place. You own the strategy and execution to build a business from the ground up!


  • Collaborate with e-tail and retail partners to develop win-win sales strategies and specific account initiatives to become preferred business partner within 3 years.


  • Manage correct market product assortment and drive relevant NPD and innovation for China.


  • Identify, utilize and mange local agencies to drive brand awareness and build brand values for the brands in China.


  • Leverage resources/tools from Central and Regional Marketing teams to roll-out innovation and strong social and digital campaigns.


  • Execute with excellence: Drive sales through creating and implementing added value proposals to drive growth in sales and improve distribution.


  • Manage the country P&L and budget; ensures delivery of the topline, market share and bottom line targets.


  • Partner with Finance and Supply Chain business partners to identify and manage risks and opportunities and drive productivity initiatives to fuel growth.


  • Build a winning team; motivate others by providing a stable, positive environment that challenges and develops each employee's potential.


  • Use analysis to make fact-based decisions: Adept at articulating conclusions from data, raising issues with insight into implications and is persuasive when presenting; identifies patterns and key issues in complex information.


  • Performance management: use systems to deliver results consistently (operational excellence: KPI reporting and diagnosis, application of best practices, team training/building & development)

The Successful Applicant



  • 10+ years' Omni Channel experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies. Experience outside China a plus


  • Successful track record in building a new business or brand in China


  • Well connected Omni channel leader with + E-Commerce experience


  • Strong social relationships with trade and E-Commerce partners


  • Marketing experience a plus


  • Demonstrated skills in strategy and execution.


  • Proven oral, written, telephone and presentation skills as well as strong interpersonal skills, including in English.


  • Ability to operate in a relatively flat, entrepreneurial organization and rolled up sleeves approach.


  • Demonstrated ability in hiring, developing and retaining top talent.


  • Ability to travel 30% of the time within China and internationally.

Education



  • Graduate degree in business or related field.


  • MBA a plus
