The role:

Our customer is a German Premium OEM who needs support for the import and CCC-Certification of imported homologation vehicles. The job is to prepare vehicles for homologation testing in close contact with the logistics department and dealers as well as preparing all necessary documentation for the authorities. In addition, onsite CCC checks need to be conducted (taking pictures, consult engineers, etc.). Finally, the candidate needs to be in constant communication with the R&D Centers in Germany and Beijing and be capable of communicating technical information to them.

  

Your tasks:

1. Harbor check coordination:

• Independently organize vehicle checks in alignment or as per request of authorized test center and authorities

• Align the testing schedule and internal (dealer/logistic hub) checking support as well as the test center

• Prepare the needed checking documentation (technical data / part CCCs)

• Join the check onsite (take picture, consult engineer, align with VDC colleagues) Location: Tianjin

• Assist test center to summarize the test result in English language according to the OEM′s standards

• Align and prepare problem solution and initiated clarification towards the Headquarter

• Prepare and regular update a vehicle check guideline and picture catalogue as well as support on creating standard format and tools for planning

   

1. Homologation car preparation coordination:

    

• Regular align and perform the homologation car preparation activities in the R&D Center

• Perform purpose made Homologation car checks on pre-series cars. 

• Write workshop order in standard format for small preparation and checking

• Monitor the cross-project workshop activities

   

   

Your qualification:

To perform this job successfully the following skills and abilities are required.

• At least a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, ideally related to automotive

• At least 2 years of working experience in a homologation related field

• Fluent English level both spoken and written

• Ability to work highly independent

• Willing to travel a few days every month

• Working experience in an intercultural team is a great plus

   

   

  Project Location:

   

The candidate will work onsite in Beijing  (Shunyi district). Occasionally the candidate has to travel to Tianjin or Changchun for work.
