Graphic Designer

The role of the Graphic Designer is to plan, execute and manage all elements of graphic design for one of Australia famous apparel brand. The most important element of this role is the ability to collaborate with key areas of the business in Australia in order to produce cutting edge concepts and design for the brands.

We are looking for a confident, creative and outgoing individual with the ability to deliver exciting elements to the overall Marketing calendar.

Must have strong Fashion Industry experience with of job focus on:

• Experience in Underwear and Clothing graphic design
• Preparation of technical packs and artwork for production
• Developing packaging artwork
• Explore new ideas and concepts and bring innovation
• Meet deadlines and manage workflow in a varied, fast paced environment by utilising excellent communication and organisational skills
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Develop graphic design plans and ideas in line with brand proposition

Background experience preferred:

• Tertiary qualifications in graphic/textiles design.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the design/fashion industry, experience in Underwear and Clothing graphic design will be a definite plus
• Knowledge of print process and applications for textiles and create finished artwork ready for print
• Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel and Mac skills is an absolute necessity
• Strong graphic design skills in yardages and panel prints
• Expert understanding in fabrics / textiles
• Fluent in China production procedures
• Experience in garment development on 3D software

• 服装版形、产前印花网版绘制经验
• 具服装所需的包装设计经验，如：吊牌、头卡等
• 有创新思路并能不断探索新概念与新元素
• 良好的沟通和组织能力，在多变快节奏的环境中，亦能很好地进行工作流管理并按时完成工作任务
• 具良好的英语口语及书面表达能力
• 开发并制定符合品牌主张的图形设计创意及计划

背景要求：

• 图形、印花设计/纺织品设计专业毕业，专科以上学历。
• 至少三年以上的服装行业经验，具内衣及服饰的图形、印花设计经验者优先
• 了解印刷过程、纺织品类软件，可以设计待印刷的设计成品。（T恤，睡衣和内衣会是主要设计对象）
• 熟练使用Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel和Mac
• 娴熟的设计能力，具有丰富的循环图形设计能力，熟练运用各类印花工艺
• 具面料/纺织品类专业知识
• 熟悉中国的服装生产流程
• 具服装行业的3D软件设计经验
