职位描述
l Actively support or/and lead product development projects on behalf of the Asia Sourcing Office (includes planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of new product developments)
l Support in tracking deliverables for the successful completion of the projects
l Identify relevant supplier options according to product requirements and group standards (include supplier visits and assessments for new suppliers as well as existing suppliers)
l Manage tender process with selected suppliers including negotiating all necessary commercial/technical/quality terms in RFQs
l Support and assist the supplier and product qualification processes working with the relevant depts.
l Support in the management of the supplier portfolio, sustainability, cost reduction, quality improvement on products
l Coordinate with Westerns and the Asia Sourcing Office teams to create 2D/3D dwg and specifications
l Support Quality team to develop quality control plan, inspection instructions, routine pre-shipment audit and corrective action complete.
l Assist ASO logistics team on order tracking and shipment status.
l Assist to expand, refine and maintain supplier information database.
l Pro-actively collect new product information from exhibitions and suppliers.
l Visit fairs and trade shows to identify new concept and communicate accordingly to internal customers in the Americas and in Europe
l Effectively communicate with BUs and participate to weekly conference call and provide status reports on new developments
l Other responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Mandatory Requirements
l Degree/Higher Diploma in Engineering or related subjects.
l Good in oral and written English
l Minimum 3 years of related experience in Product Development and supplier sourcing.
l Strong negotiation skills
l Understanding of electrical appliances manufacturing processes
l Professional used of MS Office, Outlook, and related computer software.
l Self-motivated, good team worker and good communication skills.
l Experienced in working with Western colleagues
Preferred Requirements
· Product development experience in baby care products or/and toy industry or/and kitchen-home appliances
· Special skills: Autcad
· Knowledge of standard or/and children products norms enforced in Western countries
