· Perform tests according to protocols issued by internal customers QA depts. and/or relevant market authorities
· Actively assist in setting up test protocols to enhance product quality and meet changing market standards (i.e. CPC for the US and EN for Europe)
· Support in Corrective Action requests by collecting and testing samples as well as issuing test report and relevant recommendation for internal customers assessment and approval
· Support in pre-shipment inspection and sub sequent actions (coordinate with internal customers for dispositions)
· Establish and implement technical records of inspection/tests
· Support new product qualification process
· Assist and facilitates supplier improvement plans, preventive actions plans, and measures for effectiveness
· Create and track relevant Key Performance Indicators and activity data
· Assist in the development of quality standards and criteria, control plans, measurable techniques, data collection method.
· Establish lab safety and operation rules
· Efficient and cost efficient maintenance of calibrated and functional lab equipment to answer internal customer needs
Mandatory Requirements
· Possession of an associate's degree in engineering technology
· At least 3 years of experience in laboratory tests and analysis
· Knowledge of laboratory terminology and equipment
· Knowledge of Quality Assurance Procedures
· Ability to handle samples and laboratory equipment
· Ability to keep records and make mathematical computations
· Ability to communicate effectively in English (write and speak)
· Having good problem solving abilities
· Self-motivated with a persistent and determined attitude when challenged
· Professional computer skills using MS office and Outlook
· Good interpersonal skills
Preferred Requirements
· Lab work in experience in baby care products or/and toy industry or/and kitchen-home appliances or/and medical industry
· Knowledge of standard or/and children products norms enforced in Western countries
