About Our Client

Our client is a leading company in packaging, paper and resource recovery industries, operating over 120 sites throughout Australasia and having trading offices across Asia and Europe. Job Description

• Evaluate and select vendors based on specifications, quality, cost and supply through competitive bidding

• Work closely with other Asia Pacific procurement colleagues to evaluate price optimization through collective buying

• Ensure compliance to Company's Trade Practices and Code of Ethics policies

• Implement Company's procurement strategy and goal.

• Assist with the maintenance of purchase contracts

• Identify and recommend purchasing administrative processes and systems improvements

The Successful Applicant

• Engineering degree from Top Fifty Universities in China

• Minimum of 5 years experience in purchasing, and import/export, Direct experience in machinery is preferred.

• Fluency in Mandarin and English languages ????(both written and oral).

• Customer-focused, good service sense and quick action, good at working plan and report.

• Good communication and negotiation skills.

• Perfect time management, Self-disciplined with the ability to work independently and under stress.

• Good sense to identify and prevent the risks in the project process.

• Customer oriented, strong attention to detail, team player.

• Preferable to experience in machinery purchasing.
