- Provide technical support and co unselling to CDL internal users and external customers, including OS and middleware maintenance, performance tunning, administration, trouble shooting and problem determination on system z.
- Manage z system support service DoU with each development team, define and manage charge model, meet SLA, define service scope and manage user satisfaction.- -Lead team to maintain all mainframe servers in CDL.
- Participate in emerging technology projects initiated by stakeholders, such as zCloud, monitoring, system automation, etc.
- Be an important member in CDL z Community to support GCG z business growth by providing z infrastructure support to z customers and leveraging CDL z product development talents.
- Add value to CDL System z support and maintain service;
Required Skills
More than 5 years working experience on mainframe system maintenance;
- Good understanding of zSeries architecture and z/OS management knowledge;
- Good experience in JES, SDSF, IPSF, SMP/E, DFSMS, RACF is necessarily;
- Good Experience in unix system service, TCPIP on z/OS;
- Skilled in DB2, WAS, CICS for z/OS;
- Experience in script writing, including REXX, CLIST and Shell is preferred;
- Experience in Tivoli system monitoring and automation products on system z is preferred;
- Good kowledge of linux, zLinux is preferred;
- Experience in zVM is preferred;
- Strong problem solving skills;
- Rich service management and project management experiences;
- Strong sense of responsibility, quick learner;
- Teamwork spirit, passion for work;
- Have good English/communication skills;
- Good presentation and documentation skill is a plus;
- Self-motivation is a required.
