Responsibilities:

· Handle legal matters and projects independently and diligently in a dynamic environment, work proactively with digital business team and lead lawyers to support business in achieving the goals in a compliant way;

· Draft, review and negotiate various commercial contracts such as sales contracts, channel contracts, etc.; provide legal advice to resolve commercial disputes, including for example through negotiations, arbitration or litigation;

· Identify emerging regulatory and legal issues facing GE with focus on digital business and make appropriate recommendations; ensure that legal requirements for business operations are fulfilled and that risks and exposures are avoided or at least minimized;

· As member of GGO legal team, support lead lawyer to develop legal strategies and provide advices on strategic projects; manage panel firm project and orchestrate China legal council platform;

· Contribute to the process and practice improvement initiatives;

· Other tasks assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

· 3+ years of experience working in a multinational corporation and/or for a reputable law firm on commercial legal practices, experience on digital business is a plus.

· Fluency in both oral and written Chinese/English. Good communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and function as a proactive partner for teams from different departments within the company.

· Desire to learn and grow professionally in a challenging and complex business environment.

· Law degree from a reputable university with PRC bar. LLM degree from overseas law school and admission to major overseas jurisdictions is preferable.
