The Role
You report to the Industrial Business Manager, Asia Pacific based in Singapore. As part of your primary responsibility to sell industrial products in China, you work closely with agents and direct customers and prospect new clients. You keep them posted on promotional activities and product development and provide technical support where competent, otherwise drawing in trained internal resources from your region. This role requires you to travel at least 30% in the region.
The Person
? Holds a technical education preferably a diploma or degree in Chemistry/ Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering or other relevant education.
? 2 to 3 years of prior sales/ technical sales experience
? Experience in coatings, or as Tier 1’s or 2’s to automotive industry is an advantage
? Preferably with prior business travel engagements in China
? Self-motivated, self-managing and driven to achieve results
? Good communication skills and adaptable to different cultures
? Proficient in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken,
