职位描述

Job Description:

The TS&D specialist is responsible for
technical service and application development for silicone release coating and
pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) in pressure sensitive industry;
Understand customer requirements and provide
customer right application solution including product formulations and coating
process recommendation to customers with expertise from product to
application;
Identify and close/win customer opportunity by
working with commercial team; interfacing with the regional and global TS&D
for new product commercialization;
Strong problem solving skills ready to serve
customer for trouble-shooting solutions by working with commercial, manufacture,
supply chain and customer service team;
Hands-on in lab to product performance and
application evaluation and development;
Travel for this role is expected to be at
~30%.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 5 years working experience in product
knowledge and new application development in Pressure Sensitive Industry or
related (tape, label, PSA) is required;
Experience in coating process with knowledge in
pressure sensitive industry is a plus;
Strong business sense: Able to capture new
market and application opportunity and take the lead to transfer customer needs
to new product commercialization project;
Strong problem solving skills: Ready to provide
technical solutions to serve customer for trouble-shooting such as quality
complains;
Communication and customer facing skills:
Capable and confident to present to customers and external seminars in a
professional manner;
Good team work with cross functional teams:
Ability to successfully partner with team members and stakeholders from multiple
functions (sales, marketing, R&D, product stewards) to achieve business
success;
Passion and Motivation: self-motivated and hark
working, be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously with clear priority
and planning;
Master degree in Mechanical/Chemical
Engineering/Polymer Science/Material Science/ or related disciplines is
required;

Chinese.
