About Our Client

Job Description

* Reports the status of the development by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, summarizing, and displaying data.

* Assists engineers/developers in component and material selection.

* Reviews and updates project specifications and requirements with engineers.

* Increases technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications, standards, directives and laws for product development and safety.

* Ensure that staffing and competences are appropriate to support current business plans and future growth initiatives in both skills and training/development

* Work with quality, lab. and compliance departments to ensure products will meet various regional standards, as well as internal product requirements.

* Other duties as assigned.

The Successful Applicant

* Technical university Master degree in mechanical engineering

* 8-15 years' experience in home appliances with focus "vacuum cleaner" and "accessories for vacuum cleaner"

* Experience in plastics and knowledge in Injection molding process

* At least 5 years Leadership experience in engineering environment with at least two years of close involvement with product development.

* Knowledge of managing a department (modern managing) with focus of future orientation, people orientation and culture

* Knowledge of development procedures and methods

* Knowledge of effective team building approaches and team dynamics

* Knowledge of ISO quality system and related requirements.

* Extensive computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, database, and graphics applications.

* Skilled to understand and interpret standards, directives and laws.

* Skilled to define and describe tasks

* Skilled at using Catia V6 and above software

* Ability to quickly acquire new knowledge and skills as necessary

* Work Environment: combination of office and Manufacturing environment.
