About Our Client

My client is a non-profit international organization with long experience and global reach in agriculture. With great achievement in research, this organization is dedicated to achieving food security, improving well-being, and helping potato and sweet potato farmers in the developing world. Recently opened a sizeable R&D facility (funded by the Chinese government) with fully-equipped laboratories, greenhouses, offices, meeting rooms, conference areas, training space and dormitories. this position will be based in downtown Beijing.

Job Description

§ Identify funding needs and design a proper fundraising strategy, while at the same time remain aware of relevant Chinese strategic documentation, policy priorities and deliverables to support the company's strategic goals and mission.

§ Implement the new Fundraising Strategy and build strong partnerships with potential resource partners with the public sector, with charities, international organizations, the private sector, and also with high net-worth individuals.

§ Analyse and translate information from funding priories and trends of all different donors towards your fundraising plan for China and for the Asia-Pacific region.

The Successful Applicant

§ An advanced university degree (Master's) in law, economics, finance, business, marketing, international relations and/or a related field.

§ Minimum of 6 years of successful fundraising experience with at least 3 years of international experience in fundraising and government partnerships.

§ Understands the Chinese institutional and regulatory context.

§ Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, both orally and written. Knowledge of other Asian languages is a plus.
