Job Responsibility:
1. Retail Assortment Planning
? Analyse products and market information including national sales, consumer trends and retail competition, and actively follow up trends to establish a retail product range
? Create and identify strategies, concepts and Conceptual Assortment Plans (CAP) and Range Plans based on the requirements and purchasing plan of Master Franchisees/Licensees and market feedback
? Close co-operation and know-how transfer with the product departments of INTERSPORT International to develop best product solutions
2. Leading the IOF Product Development of EB Running and Training category
? Forecast throughout the development process and ensure that these forecasts are available at the right time for capacity planning, material booking, etc.
? Select, manage and brief designers, approve all designs
? Plan, organize and facilitate internal sketch review meeting with all relevant peers and stakeholders
? Brief IOF Product Development(PD) team on all aspects of the range plan and ensure they are kept up to date on relevant market and trend information, as well as all relevant changes and developments
? With assistance of IAP PD team, complete layout of labels, packaging and marketing support based on templates provided by IIC Brand Management
? Conduct final negotiations of prices, MOQs, delivery terms, etc. in close cooperation with the development team
3. Selecting Products from Strategic Brands Offers and IIC EB Collections
? Develop merchandising planning based on product line strategy
? Actively take part in SB sales meeting and negotiate for product availability, price and marketing support with SB sales team
? Attend IIC sales meeting and make selection for Asian countries.
? Develop new strategic brand in Asia Pacific region
4. Support to Master Franchisees / Licensees
? Create marketing and sales information for run & train product group.
? Development of training support material and retail solutions for Master Franchisees/Licensees
? After-sales support including report for quality issues and claim handling
5. Coordinating Advisory and Sales Meeting
? Prepare presentations, show room, products and product line management tools for advisory and sales meetings
? Support and assist Master Franchisee/Licensee buyers by attending their national advisory and sales meetings to actively implement the business strategy and sales plan
Qualification:
? University degree
? At least 5 years working experience in Run or Training Brand company managing assortment planning and/or sales.
? Good written and spoken English and Chinese in communication
? Experience in product line management / product knowledge /Sell-through in sports markets (retail environment)
? Profound knowledge and experience of responsible product lines in Asian markets
? Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
? Negotiation and conflict management skills
? Willingness to develop, challenge and learn through new tasks and a growing INTERSPORT franchise / license business
? Warm, helpful, ambitious and outgoing personality with good team spirit
? Interest in sporting goods and personal relation to sports
