Position Profile
Our direct sales force works with a network of distributors who are technology-driven to apply their expertise in ever expanding ways. Being the market leader and the pioneer in clean room contamination control applications, we are looking outside of our traditional business in China and expanding our Life Sciences business (pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical device manufacturing, etc.) to capitalize on this growing industry in China.
To develop and expand our market share in China, the candidate will be responsible for growth in our traditional business, as well as penetrating and expanding our market share in the Life Sciences markets and industries. The candidate is required to capitalize on market trends and business opportunities to uncover appropriate clean room applications for the growth markets.
This position will initially focus on developing and executing the growth strategy for the Texwipe brand of premium contamination control products while supporting the overall commercial growth strategy of ITW Contamination Control Group China including HK. The Texwipe brand broad product offerings include, but are not limited to, a complete array of sterile and non-sterile wipers, swabs, mops, cleaning solutions and stationery for use in clean room environments. We also develop custom products to address specific customer requirements.

Major Responsibilities
· Be responsible for managing business development, sales growth to rapidly gain market share within the Southern China market
· Determine target accounts through research, market analysis and visits to distributors, customers
· Take the lead role by personally handle corporate accounts; win the business at the business margin objectives.
· Establish budget for New Product Introduction, volume, product mix, gross margin.
· Actively related to Marketing Communication for China (Exhibitions, web page, leaflets etc)
· Lead and manage the China customer service function
· Monitor and report on the financial performance, sales, margins and cost management
· Perform other duties as assigned
Immediate Challenges
· Develop and implement a 5-year growth roadmap and strategic plan with a focus on the Life Sciences business
· Assimilate into the processes, team and culture of the organization and quickly understand the business model and acquire knowledge of the products and capabilities of the business and its worldwide operations
Dimension & Scope
· Responsible for the entire commercial business and ITW Contamination Control Group markets in China
· Assist Development Business Development Director in the commercial growth with a focus on penetrating and expanding our market share in the Life Sciences markets and industries in China
· Assist Development Business Development Director in setting up and managing all product lines (new and existing) based on customer and market requirements in China
Key Performance Indicators
· Performance to sales budget, gross profit and field selling expenses
· Hiring, training and performance of the field staff in a timely and effective manner
· Customer satisfaction through the Customer service internal and external
· Admin, timely and accurate reporting, reduction in outstanding debt (reduction in receivables)

The potential to expand the role to oversee and manage the entire group's business portfolio in China, depending on the company's direction and the incumbent's performance.

Eligibility
Critical Criteria:
· At least 8 years business development/cleanroom sales experience in China with preference to candidates with a Engineering background
· Understanding of the Life science industries, business trends and technical know-how
Knowledge / Skills:
· Proven track record in business development, product management and key account management
· Experience with P&L management
· Strong communication, collaboration, teamwork, negotiation as well as people management skills
· Demonstrate strong marketing/business development with familiarity and competency to manage channel partners
