职位描述：

The candidate will be responsible for the application development & technical service for Hot Melt PUR applications in Southern China markets. On this market-focused technical role, the activities will cover the identification and execution of customer opportunity by working with marketing and commercial organization; interfacing with the regional and global TS&D for development work; adherence to manufacturing and product stewardship for the new product scale-up; introduction of solutions at targeted customers for product qualification and commercialization. The incumbent will work closely with the sales, marketing and technical peers in the Pacific and globally.

The detailed job descriptions include:

• Collaborate closely with regional ICEE (Industrial Comfort Energy Efficiency) Team to identify the growth opportunities.
• Provide the product recommendation, formulation fine-tuning upon existing products for particular customer needs and on-site trial support for identified customer opportunity.
• Trouble-shooting support for the customer quality complain by working with account manager, plant, supply chain and quality organization to continually define and reduce costs associated with product quality.
• Generate high quality technical report for the development projects, customer call report; to conduct technical symposiums for the industry meetings and at customer side, and to prepare technical literatures/publications.
• Seamless team work and effective communication with marketing, commercial, TS&D peer, plant, product stewardship and other R&D colleagues.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor, Master, PhD in Polymer Science/Material Science/Chemical Engineering or related disciplines is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Hot Melt PUR markets application knowledge with active customer interaction, including but not limited to wood, auto,
  appliance, electronics, etc.
• Good formulation experience of PU specialties will be preferable.
• Good command in written and spoken English.
• Able to base in GZSH, Guangzhou, China. Travel will be focused in China Southern Area.
• Good communication skill with the team.
• Customer focused, self-motivated and profit/cost conscious.
• Quick learner for the new applications and technologies.
• Possess strong presentation, analytical skills and project management skills.
