GENERAL LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
Attends to general legal support tasks including maintaining calendars, phone support, meetings, general filing and coordination of travel and off-site meetings. Supports the legal and government relations professionals as well as the paralegals/legal assistants.
LEGAL PROCESS MANAGEMENT
Will answer routine questions and manage normal department processes including SPRA creation, schedules of staff, department work, status of projects, and, as experience and procedure and policy inquiries. Will manage internal legal processes such as CARB pre-work, corporate governance support (chops, POA’s, routine legal filings) and matters associated with labor and employment and litigation projects. This would include keeping legal pleadings files, court date calendars, routine interaction with outside counsel on filing dates and management of key legal processes such as insurance claims and litigation summaries.
COMPLEX DOCUMENT CREATION
Using other software packages outside of work processing (spreadsheet, database, etc. applications) performs word processing, data entry, manipulation of data, column setup, design and entry of formulas and verification of calculations, etc. Performs work in graphics packages and presentation packages for designing reports and presentations. May perform similar work in mainframe applications in addition to or in substitution for pc software applications. Develops spreadsheets for various reports. Uses manuals for non-routine applications. For reports and/or presentation materials, may use a combination of several software packages to create finished product. If work involves a database(s), level of work should include most or all facets of entry, information retrieval/report writing, maintenance and control of database information.
BUDGET
Projects annual budget figures for principal and performs data entry of figures into appropriate software application after principal’s review. Performs budget responsibilities including tracking of budget items and expenses using an appropriate and designated responsibility report and writes the variance report and/or other budget report for the principal’s review.
Requirements:
? Bachelor degree, major is open;
? About 2 years’ working experience;
? Familiar with Microsoft, like Excel, PPT, Word etc;
? Good English written and spoken skills;
? Positive and outgoinig.
