Wal-Mart China Hypermarket Future Merchant Program is to accelerate the development of future Merchant talents in the company’s Merchandising organization.
During this 2-year program, the candidates will experience systematic and well-structured development plan among progressive positions in various departments of MDSE in the Home Office of Wal-Mart China, a business with 100k+ associates in a fast-change, energetic and growth market.
The company will offer meaningful technical and soft-skill learning opportunities, experienced and intellectual coaches and teammates, and the exposure to Senior Leadership team.
Job responsibilities
1.Complete assigned Merchandising task by co-operation with team members, and completing task assessments describing processes; Provide Regular updates to senior management sponsor on working status.
2.Develops a thorough knowledge of how a merchant contribute to the execution of business in each of the core functional by performing the tasks of Merchandising associates
3.Learns the role of customer-focused functions in Merchandising areas, fulfilling experience checklists through on-the-job training with senior buyers or leaders in each functional area, and completing all required training modular.
4.Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions, identify business needs, determines and carries out necessary processes and practices; monitors progress and results;
5.recognizes on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities
Requirements:
1.Fresh Graduates from well-known educational institutions domestic/ abroad
2.Master Degree in Business/Textile/Food relevant majors
3.Aspiration in Retail industry, strong business sense, innovative and willing to learn
4.Problem solving capability, good communication skill, and data analytical skills
5.Able to communicate logically and clearly to various level of partners both in Chinese and in English
6.Experience in study union/ business relevant practice, overseas’ studying experience is preferred
