Develop & Execute Regional Channel Led Strategy
1. Deploy relevant China / Global insights to support regional initiatives; own & champion local insights development for channel plans & selling solutions (e.g. Customer solutions or Product VPs) and ensure these insights also get reflected to China/ Global teams
2. Develop local Channel Led Strategy (adopting from China / Global Channel Strategy), identifying “where & how” to play supporting the regional foodservice business
3. Implement local Channel Led Strategy through local execution with excellence. This is done through: a) Insights identification & analytics, b) Leads Generation, c) Channel management Techniques, Products & Solutions & d) Share & Reapply Knowledge via China / Global frameworks & best practices.
4. Develop & execute an annual local channel activity calendar of activities, incorporating national campaigns, reviewing priorities quarterly for implementation.
5. Budget Management (A&P): ensure cost ownership and cost budgeting responsibilities are planned and adhered to in line with established budgets and delegated authority.
Key Accounts Engagement & Business Development
6. Deliver breakthrough key customer engagement through:
a. Compelling menu/ranging solutions innovation
b. Front of house delivery systems and consumer experience
c. Back of house process efficiencies
d. Through data collection/analysis develop credible insights & tangible value propositions
e. Through sales solution development, transfer best practice execution to account teams
7. Build and maintain relationships with key influencers, decision makers and approvers in the customer’s organisation – including business owners, senior executives, marketing, operations and R&D. Ensuring Fonterra is sort out as a leader in meaningful innovation and genuine business efficiency improvement
8. Provide Sales with new channel opportunities / insights to identify & acquire accounts through lead indicator data
9. Provide Sales with channel insights/solution for Win & Retain/Grow accounts
Cross Functional Support
10. Provide strong cross functional support to Sales, Chef, Branding, Sales Operation, Demand Planning, finance, & human resource functional teams
11. Connect to counterparts within China Channel Team, Global Channel Team as well as team in New Zealand headquarter to capture ideas to drive potential enhancement within operating procedures

Minimum 10 years in a marketing role, or minimum 5 years in a customer facing sales with 2 years marketing/channel experience
B2B experience minimum 3 years.
Strong business acumen, ‘entrepreneur’ mind-set
Creative thinking capability – The ability to identify opportunities & develop value propositions
Strong influencing & interpersonal skills. Proven at interacting positively with senior leaders or owners of businesses
Functional team skills, able to work effectively in fast moving cross functional teams
Adaptability – able to cope with change, think on their feet
Organisation and prioritization skills – able to plan and self-organize
Project Management skills: ability to set clear goals and measures for success and able to track performance accordingly.
Local and International Business Acumen: Working knowledge and insights into international industry and market dynamics
Social Media: Experience in leveraging social media to promote what we can deliver to customers
Sufficient understanding of the Foodservice industry, to anticipate and manage trends, technologies, markets and economics.
Fluent in both English & Mandarin, Cantonese speaking
