Job Description

As R&D Director you will be responsible for the following tasks and deliverables:

- Leading and improving whole product development function

- Setting up necessary processes and procedures to reduce bureaucracy and internal communication time and to avoid loosing necessary information from product design till mass production

- Secure and shorten product development time by implementing all necessary tools (including software) for each stage of product development cycle.

- Set up total cost competitiveness for company

- Improve production efficiency and stabilise products' quality

The Successful Applicant

Successful candidate for this role should match following criteria:

1) 10+ year experience in managing R&D/Product Development functions, including market research

2) Experience within furniture manufacturing is an advantage but not essential

3) Proven track record of running projects for NPI and existing products improvement

4) Proven track record in making improvements in R&D function and supporting manufacturing

5) Hands-on experience in product design, prototyping, implementation.

6) Technical/Engineering knowledge and mechanical engineering understanding

7) Fluent English speaking skills
