SUMMARY: Main point of contact for Under Armour Suppliers on lab dip and bulk lot approvals for mass production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include the following. Other duties may also be assigned.
-Manage the daily workflow and prioritize the color evaluations and color standard processes.
-Evaluate lab dips and bulk lots and ensure accurate color direction is given to Suppliers with regards to matching Under Armour Color Standards through the defined process, utilizing the spectrophotometer and the light box.
-Coordinate reviews with superiors or outside departments when necessary.
-Communicate color comments, approvals, and rejections to dye houses.
-Adhere to and manage color approval timeline and follow up with suppliers regarding timeliness of color submissions and approvals.
-Ensure color consistency across product categories and seasons for carry-over colors
-Follow up and maintain color approval databases and prepare lab dip approval status reports.
-Travel to mills and color labs in order to build relationships, increase communications and improve color quality.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Textiles or related field. 2-3 years experience in color development. Good knowledge of color theory analysis and evaluation techniques. Strong knowledge of established industrial color evaluation testing procedures and practices.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Attention to detail, and follow up. Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills with solid people skills and a real team player approach. Ability to work well with multiple personality types and levels. Ability to be assertive without being offensive. Self-motivated, works under own direction. Ability to work well under pressure. Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills. Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to travel approximately 10% of time.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents in English. Ability to write reports and correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, peers and Suppliers in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
