职位描述：
An application engineer is searched for China, to work in the product engineering area to take care about on-road/off-road machines with a wide activity perimeter to cover application and electronic validation activities. Job site would be Shanghai (WGQ).

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
？ Plan and execution of all machine validation activities (both installation layout and functional tests) and related reporting, according to projects’ milestones plan; in particular full execution of Application check-list for sign-off:
o ATS / DeNox lay-out check, support to ATB/ATD test, UQS functional test, air intake pressure/temperature measurements, exhaust backpressure measurements, exhaust temperature measurements in ATS thermal treatments conditions
o Mission profile measurement with different pay-loads, SCR efficiency trend during the different missions, support to winter/summer tests
o Automatic/Service regeneration validation in standard, cold and altitude conditions [temperature governor and disabling conditions], validation of the vehicle functionalities required by the customers [speed limiter, cruise control, engine brake, speed governor, ACC&AEB]
o VIF (vehicle interface functions): drivers interface, CAN Management, Torque/Speed management, vehicle/engine/ATS protection function, dashboard diagnostic and indications, vehicle load management, anti-tampering
o DIAGNOSIS: Inducement strategy, sensors’ temperatures plausibility monitoring, service tool communication, engine Tests, actuator tests routines execution, reprogramming/EOL
o EMS Integration components and DeNox: support to Application and DRE for component installation definition/verification/sign-off, troubleshooting and quality issue management
？ When required, validate effect of possible engine HW/components and SW/calibration modifications on machine and assess results vs. customer target w/ engine test bench development team
？ Troubleshooting of machine specific application / electronic issues: first contact for customer, data analysis to address issues to specific engineering areas
？ Define and maintain updated procedures for machine validation activities
？ Support application project leader and assistance chief engineer to create and maintain application and EMS planning for projects under scope
？ Fleet Monitoring management (whole process: from the instrument configuration for data collection to the report sharing with customer)
o Data Management (Data life cycle): ECU protocol processing, Data post processing
o Instrumentation management (configuration, maintenance, update, etc.…)
o Fluids samples lifecycle management
o Projects data collection and storage
o Organize fleet status meetings with application project leader to share and discuss analysis results
o Support to definition of data analysis tools and methods
？ 1°Level Data Analysis for both functional verification and fleet troubleshooting, in accordance to application project leader and engine test bench development engineers
？ Support to other teams for 2°level data analysis, whenever required

EXPECTED DELIVERABLES:
？ Vehicle functional test reports (application and EMS sides)
？ Vehicle test procedures (installation and functional check)
？ Fleet management reports: FTT, IUMPR, PEMS emulator, trip recorder, catalyst efficiency stats, fluids analysis, instruments efficiency, fleet data KPI
？ 1°Level data analysis reports (punctual, statistical and aggregate analysis) for functional and fleet issues
？ 2° level data analysis reports when required
？ Interface with FPT Application/EMS departments and System Supplier

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
？ Bachelor degree in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), internal combustion engine or automotive as preferable
？ Good knowledge of engine and ATS technologies; knowledge of electronic engines and SW/calibration strategies for ATS control is preferred. Experience with Bosch ECU EDC17 / MD1 platform is a preferable requirement
？ Good knowledge of main electronics aspects of automotive world, with focus on vehicle specific systems (AEBS/ACC, automatic gearbox, etc…) and functions (PTO, cruise control, instrument cluster management, etc.…)
？ More than 2-3 years’ experience in diesel engine development, emission and passenger car / industrial machines application activities
？ Good relationship capability with attitude to deal with technical discussions with customer and within CNHi organization
？ Availability to work in Shanghai area, with frequent travels across China and seldom to Italy
？ Fluent English in both written and spoken.
？ Good communication and negotiation skills
？ Project management skill is considered preferable.
？ Team work member, proactive and motive working attitude.
