Key Responsibilities
1. Establish a comprehensive coverage of agreed territory and products in consultation with the OES China Sales Manager including:
o Responsible for selling HHA OES products or services directly to customers.
o Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within XXX province or industry segments
o Identifies customer needs and market trends and presents HHA products and support services to customers appropriately and effectively.
o Responsible for ensuring the Sales pipeline is maintained with a balance of short, mid and long term prospects sufficient for the continuous attainment of your half year targets.
o Creation and maintaining Sales leads in the CRM system
o Build and maintain close and effective working relationships with accounts / customers
o Visit customers to enhance market coverage
o Uphold OI Brand integrity within distributors / agents and operate in a manner consistent with the OI brand values.
o Check quotation requests and participate in major bids, ensuring they are won at best price and terms. Intervene personally with end-users as appropriate.
o Propose marketing initiatives with Sales Manager and Marketing department e.g. seminars, direct mailing, trade shows, conferences and advertising.
2. Plan and execute agreed Sales targets for: Sales by product, market segment, product mix, take responsibility for cash collection and maintaining gross margins.
3. Provide regular reports in an agreed format.
4. Interface with existing office team.
5. Maintain professional awareness of relevant external technical and business developments and of competitor activity.
Person Specification – Essential requirements unless stated
1. Relevant technical degree preferred or business degree if appropriate market experience can be demonstrated.
2. Able to explain the technical features, advantages and benefits of relevant products. Understands competitive OES products.
3. Over 5 years working experience in OES disciplines and/or instrumentation industry.
4. Understands the key factors which influence the performance of own area of the business. Evaluates activities and decisions from a commercial perspective, achieving short-term financial efficiency and longer-term business objectives.
5. Has an appreciation of the external market place and its requirements and appreciates importance of providing feedback mechanism to central marketing. Applies this to own planning and decision making.
6. Maintain established CRM system with customers and prospects
7. High personal credibility with distributors and end-user customers.
8. Will to travel up to 50% of their time (using major transportation like car, plane, train..)
9. Proficient PC skills including MS Office
10. Valid Driving Licence of People´s Republic of China
