PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for the successful implementation and support of SAP Supply Chain solutions (material management and warehouse management) in SAP Go Live projects and Post-Live Support. Hands-on experiences with MM and WM are required.
Enthusiasm to help colleagues within the RTC team and across the other module teams in resolving issues, advising opportunity for improvement to deliver with quality is a must.
This role uses consulting skills, business knowledge and SAP solution expertise to effectively integrate Un1ty SAP into the Eaton business environment to achieve expected business results.
In addition to knowledge of MM/WM configuration alone in projects, the candidate should have generic understanding about other integrated function module, business process insight and hands-on data migration experiences.
SAP RTC scope encompasses:
A. SAP MM
a. Sourcing
b. Purchasing (With inter/intra company business solution experiences) and its integration with FICO, PP and SD module.
c. Inventory Management and its integration with FICO, PP and SD module.
d. Material Planning (MRP) and its integration with PP and SD module.
B. SAP WM
a. Warehouse Management (optional RF Guns).
b. Batch or Serial Management.
C. MM Master Data
a. Related Master Data (Vendor Master, Material Master, Purchasing Info Record and etc.) in a discrete (electrical and electronics) manufacturing environment.
b. Hands-on Data Migration is a Must.
The RTC client community includes:
A. Supply Chain Department (Sourcing, Procurement, Warehouse).
B. Operations Department (Planning).
This is an Asia Pacific role that encompasses China, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and India. Traveling is optional depending on the assignment of the project.
This role will work closely with the APAC RTC COE in enforcing standardization of SAP processes, metrics and data in the region and ensuring that they align with global standards in Go Live projects, post go-live support and Enhancement projects. This role will also help build competent super user communities across the region for effective deployment of the system.
Strong English communication skills are a Must.
The candidate must have enthusiasm and commitment to help fellow colleagues and super user community in resolving issues and proactively seeking every opportunity for improvement. Must strive to deliver with quality. Not deterred by hard work. Have a positive ‘Can-do’ attitude.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Meet with decision makers, systems owners, BPOs and end users to define, document, and communicate business, financial, and operations requirements. Identify systems goals and solutions to systems issues.
B. Work in partnership with business users on business requirements, processes, and systems. Provide knowledge and input to the business on the system implications of business process changes.
C. Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or viewpoints.
D. Effectively use workflow and process diagrams when explaining company-standard material and warehouse management processes and when capturing business requirements.
E. Analyze business requirements, assess alternative solutions, design develop and implement application system solutions using Un1ty SAP and Eaton standards.
F. Work with the Central Governance Team to ensure proposed solutions are lined up with the Global Solution.
G. Participate in configuration, documentation, unit testing, integration testing support, and review of business training materials.
H. Assist in scope changes against baseline requirements through application of change control processes and tools.
I. Assist in mentoring and/or training new functional analysts when required.
J. Participate in business level improvement committees as needed.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
Languages:
A. Fluent English (oral and written).
B. Fluent Mandarin (oral and written).
Work Experience:
A. 6-8 years SAP implementation experience.
B. At least 4 full-cycle SAP projects in manufacturing companies with configuration and data migration experiences.
C. External Consultancy background, preferred.
D. Exposure to international experience, i.e. have worked with Multinationals.
Qualifications:
A. Minimum University degree level, preferably with Accounting degree.
Technical Competencies:
A. Experience in Electrical discrete manufacturing industry.
B. Experience in SAP MM and WM.
C. Experience in SAP QM, preferred.
D. Experience and knowledge of key integration points between MM/WM and other SAP modules.
E. Business knowledge and process design skills.
F. Understanding of project methodologies.
G. Must be an effective problem solver.
Communication Competencies:
A. Possess good presentation and documentation skills.
B. Possess good training skills.
C. Possess the ability to articulate ideas and concepts to a wide range of audience.
D. Has awareness of business change activities and the impact of change on an organization.

E. SAP MM/WM certification is advantageous.
