Overall Design Management and Cooperation
1.Collecting client requirements and fully understand client intent;
2.Set up proper design management procedure agreed by client and design team;
3.Fully coordination with design team and within design team to avoid misunderstanding and design gap;
4.Plan and drive reporting meeting with client & relevant government authorities;
5.Plan and drive design coordination meeting/technical workshop within design team;
6.Drive and manage value engineering throughout the design;
7.Drive design counterchecking/reviewing meeting and ensure design deliverables quality;
8.Coordinate designers to align the Design program with the Procurement program;
9.Identify specific Hold Points that will require specific Client decisions during the design development process;
10.Identify, evaluate, manage and track design changes.
Manage handover sessions
1.Cooperate with procurement team and provide technique support during the procurement process;
2.Coordinate with design team provide technique review and guidance during the construction administration stage;
3.Coordinate with design team to attend the practical completion and provide defect lists.
Design Schedule Management
1.Work out practical design schedule which can match master schedule;
2.Monitor design team performance against the design schedule and advise on progress.
Risk Management
1.Identify and alert delay risk to Project Manager in advance and work with Project Manager for rectification solutions;
2.Design risk management.
任职要求:
Education /Work Experience Requirement
1.A degree in architectural, civil engineering, or MEP engineering related discipline or related field or a combination of formal education and work experience in excess of ten (10) years, all of which must be related to all aspects of Design/Construction/Project Management;
2.A strong understanding of all aspects of Design Management.
Technical and Administrative Skills
1.Strong technical background;
2.Expert in design management and coordination;
3.Skills for MS Project, Excel, Word and/or other scheduling software, AutoCAD is preferred.
Business Skills
1.Ability to conduct business development presentation to potential clients in both English and Chinese;
2.Understand the legal environment in design contracts and be able to manage the design contract accordingly;
3.Assist the Project Manager as appropriate to carry out commercial negotiations with design consultants;
4.Control, manage and negotiate variation orders of design consultant.
Interpersonal Skills
1.Motivate design team members;
2.Provide leadership to design team;
3.Maintain and cultivate good relationship with all stakeholders;
4.Create an environment where all team members are encouraged to contribute;
5.Manage design team members to achieve enthusiastic and effective contribution to the project;
