职位描述：
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Identify research direction, discover new solutions and translate it into applicable working solutions/process for consumer solution/device by Leading and executing research project(s) according to time, cost, and quality requirement, and achieve good balance. You need work along with and influence other team members and stakeholders with different background.

You are responsible for
? Lead or conduct scientific research on the principles and mechanisms related to food science and/or nutrition, particularly in the areas of food carbohydrate/lipid research or diet/lifestyle relevant chronic diseases, and apply the knowledge and expertise to develop innovative technologies and solutions.
? Lead or carry on industrial research on food science and nutrition related topics and delivers contributions to projects as required.
? Solves problems conventionally and independently, documents well the research outcome, delivers required research outcome in the form of IP, internal technical reports and quality publications, where applicable.
? Contributes to new initiatives on research directions related to nutrition and health.
? Be responsible for maintaining and updating personal knowledge and expertise, in respect to innovation, new technical developments and quality, within his/her application areas.
? Maintains and strengthen the network in industry and academy, in order to participate in strategic platforms and to keep track of new developments.

You are a part of
Nutrition Health team, reporting to Nutrition team leader under Philips China Research Center

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
? M.Sc. and above in food science, food chemistry, carbohydrate chemistry, nutritional science or other related majors.
? Research experience in food science or nutritional science is a must with experience in diet/lifestyle related chronic diseases is a plus, with good track record (e.g. publications at renowned international journals/conferences).
? Good analytical skills to understand and interpret experimental data, as well from publications.
? Effective communication skills, has a natural preponderance, can be communicative and a good listener, influential
? good grasp of English both oral and written
? Lateral thinker with helicopter view, passionate, open-minded, results-oriented, problem-solving skills and improvement attitude.
