Project Specialist:

Our GS&S business unit designs, develops the world’s top-selling machine vision software. As a Project Specialist, you’ll support hundred-million scale-size programs from commercial quotes, BOM management, and potentially loaner management, that enables to deliver clarity and flawless execution of commercial activities and best satisfaction to our customers.
Essential Functions:
? Align product and price strategy to meet changing customer needs while achieving profitability targets.
? Manage BOM documentation in routine at timely fashion
? Provide commercial support to Cognex’s worldwide Sales team and customers.
? Work closely with Operations to manage supply forecast, loaner inventory and demand plan.
? Work with Engineering team (VPE) to define and prioritize product requirements that tied to global strategic approaches.
? Maintain product kits and BU price master, issue field notices, and similar administrative tasks.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
? Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
? Ability to work with local and international Sales, Operations and Engineering teams
? An uncompromising belief in putting the customer first
? Enthusiasm, perseverance, integrity and pride.
Minimum education and work experience required:
? Bachelor’s degree required; technical degree preferred
? 4 years of Bid Management, Manufacturing Operations or Ordering & Logistic experiences
? Program management, machine vision or camera experience is a bonus.
