SUMMARY: The developer will be responsible for the timely delivery and quality of Under Armour product by supporting Sourcing Development Manager in all aspects of development and work closely with commercialization, production and quality assurance within a particular contract partner or factory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Has a good understanding of supplier chain ensures that these delivery timelines are met.
- Is able to co-operate and communicate well with an internationally diverse group of colleagues around the world; is able to work closely with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Develop in line sports that satisfy the highest quality and performance standards , while meeting assigned margin targets for the category.
- Support Product Manager and Designer and Home office developer to source/determine products materials/trims, construction methods, and graphics for new products launches.
- Responsible for hitting all key product development milestone dates as outlined on the development calendar and communicate/ resolve any exceptions.
- Work with factory Partner on cost negotiations to meet margin targets.
- Collaborate with Product Line Managers, Designers, Developers, Quality, and Sourcing Team to determine fabric/plastic, trim and construction options to better value engineer product to meet margin targets, ensure product integrity, AND improve manufacturing efficiencies.
- Collaborate with home office Developer to prepare and maintain technical packages including Bill of Materials, specs, fabric profiles, Cost Breakdowns, etc. Maintain all information within Product Development Management software.
- Provide technical specs into tech packs and work with factory partner on pattern construction.
- Drive prototype progress and follow style life cycle through product conception to commercialization. Own Buy Ready status of new product launches.
- Lead timely communication with Sourcing, Development, and Quality team, as well as factory partners.
- Collaborate with Home office developer to conduct wear test segments and consumer focus groups ; utilize feedback to improve design accordingly.
- Travel to partner factories to drive development projects as needed.
- Ensure all new products meet required federal, national, and local compliance standards (RSL, SIA,etc)
- Other Duties as Assigned.

- Technical experience with stitching methods, bonded, HF welding, sublimation, PU casting, etc

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Engineering, Materials or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of development experience in Accessories Promo and On Field Products manufactory and total above 8 years working experience.
- Strong foundation in product manufacturing including how to construct UA Accessory Promo to meet margin, quality, and performance targets
- Experience travelling and working hands on with international factory partners and Regional Offices.
- Mathematics skill – ability to calculate margins, target costs, etc.
- Fluent in English including reading, writing and speaking skills, CET Level 4 or above is preferred.
- Knowledge of textile, synthetic etc. materials, also strong knowledge in pattern making and bag manufactory technics.
- IT knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple products across multiple seasons at one time.
