The Value Chain Intelligence Analyst role is responsible for acquiring and triangulating market data to establish monthly smartphone and tablet forecast with strong ability to articulate forecast changes and help business leaders clearly understand the implications to strategic and operational decisions.
? Formulate quarterly smartphone and tablet forecasts by OEMs on a monthly-basis
? Triangulate market data to facilitate understanding on what’s happening in the value chain and to identify the most likely build demand for business
? Articulate clear rationales on how model ramp-up schedule will impact demand changes, and highlight potential risks to short term forecast team and other internal business functions
? Manage consulting relations, supply chain contacts, and identify potential new consultancy candidates to elevate our internal value chain intelligence function
? Monitor value chain of alternative cover glasses and relevant competitive materials; lead project-based analysis upon request
? Work closely with account teams to get first-hand information
? Gather value chain intelligence through public sources, industry analyst reports, conferences and exhibitions


Education & Experience 学历及经验
? Minimum 3 years of working experience in marketing or market analysis function/research studies in either MNC or consultancy firms. Current experience and networks in the field of smartphone industry is highly preferable
? Bachelor degree in Business, marketing or technical, MBA is preferred

? Proven strong analytical and Excel skills, with ability to attain to details
? Strong ability and interpersonal skills to communicate with value chain players and account teams to acquire and consolidate market intelligence
? Strong ability to triangulate diverse raw data and market anecdotes and come up with synthesized view of the market
? Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills to articulate rationale and Corning impact to senior management
? Proven project management capability and team-player
? English and Mandarin fluency
? Works well independently, self-motivated, ability to travel, well organized, results driven
