Job Responsibilities
Synaptics is looking for a talented and passionate engineer for its IOT Division. Eligible candidates will be responsible for build and test and deployment systems. This will primarily be an Integration Engineer role. Responsibility would include as following.
？ Design and develop features for build and test and deployment systems
？ Developing tools and processes to improve and automate workflow
？ Automate build and test system components wherever feasible
？ Liaising with the relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth adherence of the global release plan
？ Performing regular release and patch builds
？ Managing the source control / version control system
？ Working with the development team to configure the product codebase
？ Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of continuous build/deployment systems
？ Work across functional (development/testing, deployment, systems/infrastructure) and project teams to ensure continuous operation of build and test systems
？ Proactively seeks opportunities to implement improvements to internal team process
？ Document any new process or update an existing wiki page

Required Qualifications
？ MS or BS in Computer Science or other related major.
？ 3+ years relevant experience
？ Hands-on experience with mainstream build-and-deploy systems
？ Expert knowledge of source control management systems, such as Git/Gerrit
？ Experience with build automation systems such as Jenkins/Hudson, or Cruise Control
？ Experience with web application build/deployment tasks
？ Experience with Python, BASH, ANT, make etc., necessary tech or tools
？ Good written and verbal communication skills both in English and mandarin.
？ Familiarity with unit testing and code-coverage tools, is a plus
？ Familiarity with functional or performance test automation techniques and tools, is a plus 举报 分享
