About Our Client


A fast growing and innovative company with locations in Munich and Hong Kong. We advance e-mobility on two wheels by developing, producing, and operating components and systems for e-bikes. Our goal is the greatest possible amount of freedom in designing the new generation of bicycles.


Job Description


You'll be designing schematics/layouts and verifying designs from your colleagues


You will identify and select suitable components (ICs, chip sets, modules)


Identify, select and coordinate service providers (design houses, product testing services, rapid prototype manufacturer, distributors, ODM/OEM engineers, etc.)


You will develop electronic and functional test plans


Qualify the design of your assemblies (CE/ EMI, FCC, etc.)


You'll be supporting NPI engineering during sample stages, set-up of the assemply process and SOP


Coordinate with Product Management, Project Management, Mechanical Engineers and 3rd Level Service


Reverse engineer benchmark products/assemblies and prototype critical designs


You will proactively identify and collect new electronic design concepts


The Successful Applicant


You have a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering or a similar discipline


2-3 years of experience in electronic design Solid experience on circuit and layout design, prefer in Protel or Altium Design Solid hand soldering, using of various measurement devices and troubleshooting skills You're experienced in using MS office Good command of English and Mandarin, to liaise both with our worldwide office and suppliers Experience in HDI products is desirable Frequent travel to ODM/ OEM sites Active participation in the open source community desired Having experience with DCDC converter is a plus Having experience with radio frequency design is a plus (e.g. Bluetooth / GPS)
