Position Description
The Senior Application Analyst position is accountable for supporting the Level 2 and Level 3 support activities related to client’s production systems, with additional capabilities specific to the Baan ERP product and the EDI messaging framework. The position provides primary responsibility for Baan report development, leveraging an external 3rd party reporting tool. Working under the direction of supporting management, they will participate in an IS team context to address routine support requests, unplanned break/fix issues, and larger project-based initiatives.
Performance Objectives
? Baan Report Management and Development. Function as primary Point of Contact and development lead for new Baan-based report requests and/or Baan report enhancements. Define requirements, document specifications, develop and deploy Baan reports in response to business customer Baan report enhancement needs.
? Level 3 Application Support. Function as a member of the IS Support Team. Provide general systems engineering support for a portfolio of Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) products used in both manufacturing and engineering spaces, as well as some internally developed systems. Be able to leverage keen troubleshooting skills in the support of production systems. Provides input and technical recommendations for new system requirements and requests.
? Service Desk Level 2 Support. Function as a member of the IS Support Team. Execute on assigned service requests and incidents relating to the client’s application portfolio and infrastructure. Ensure that stakeholders understand the disposition of work requests in queue and in progress through clear and professional communication.
? EDI Support. Provide technical depth to the EDI team, providing periodic support in EDI operational activities, monitoring of message queues, and troubleshooting issues, as needed. Provide recommendations for changes to the EDI framework, and participate in project-level efforts to enhance client’s EDI implementation.

? Strong Team Player and Contributor. Work well with colleagues and produce results within a fast-paced and high pressure atmosphere. Combine strong attention to detail with an orientation towards results and execution.
Minimum Qualifications
? Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related; or equivalent combination of education and experience
? Experience with Baan ERP in a manufacturing environment, with the ability to learn additional Baan-specific technologies
? Strong understanding of the Microsoft family of products, to include Office, Skype for Business, SharePoint, and various Operating System versions
? Strong communication skills and the ability to convey process and technical concepts to business stakeholders
? Proven experience working with a team and supporting collaboration, innovation and teamwork
? Knowledge of enterprise architecture principals, IT product management, and process improvement a strong plus
? Interpersonal and leadership skills – servant leadership, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills
? Great communication skills, both written and spoken
? Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand
? Project and program management planning and organizational skills
? Prior cross functional or international experience is preferred
? Exhibit good judgment, common sense, leadership and decision making skills and abilities.
? Effective trouble shooting, problem solving and organizational skills. Able to handle frequent interruptions, multiple and varied tasks, meet tight deadlines, and handle conflict in an effective manner
? Ability to work with confidential information
? Willing and able to travel internationally
