General Description:
Supporting the provision of pricing and specification services to support both internal and external customers from all Steelcase regions, including Steelcase sales offices, A&D and end customers.
Responsible for developing quotation proposal based on the global Steelcase product portfolio, from typicals development, test fitting floor layouts through to the creation of post installation drawings.
Liaise with customers to understand the customer needs and to verify designs.
Manager the product sample(soft/hard copy), collaborate with warehouse/CS for the mock ups as well.

Task Profile:

Support response for request for services:
1.Collaborate with other team members to complete requests as required ( From research to response )
2.Collaborate with external teams to complete requests as required ( Shanghai, Beijing and other locations )
3.Communicate with customers to define request/project requirements
4.Develop quotation solutions based on Steelcase product offerings based on process for each market (AP, NA, Europe)
5.Support the definition of special products
6.Read & interpret typical drawings
7.Floor plan take-offs based on typical drawings
8.Apply pricing based on process for each market (AP, NA, Europe)
9.Create complete project quotations
10.Compile RFP & RFI responses with supporting documentation
11.Calculate Freight, Delivery & Installation charges, together with SFT, Forwarder & customers
12.Review own/peer quotes & drawings QAS
13.Submit and review quotations with customers
14.Assign projects

Administrative Support
1.Update daily metrics and project management system ( Time Tracking/APLINK/NALINK/AGIO )
2.Maintain and update project folders
3.Collect and maintain RFP supporting documentation
4.Facilitate weekly team meetings
5.Participate with weekly management meetings
6.Analyze and develop metrics
7.Participate in first round interviews
8.Manage team members

LEAN Support
1.Participate in daily meetings ( Accountability Meeting )
2.Participate and support improvement programs ( A3 Projects )
3.Participate with Continuous Improvement Program ( CIP )

Customer Experience Support
1.Participate with customer visits as and when required
2.Engage customers to explain department processes and services

Development / Network
1.Maintain and update on product knowledge ( participate with product training )
2.Follow the Learning and Development curriculum and update progress
3.Mentor new hires through the Buddy System
4.Coaching team ( Lead 1-on-1 meetings, continuous coaching, mentor, training )
5.Maintain employee documentation including MAPP, SWI, Training Plan & JDs

Education/Experience
1.Minimum Degree/Diploma, prefer Industrial / Product Design / Interior Design or equivalent
2.1 – 2 years working experience preferably with field sales, dealers, marketing and operations
