职位描述：

The Switchboard Operator provides switchboard support to the Shanghai Dow Center (SDC) employees and also external customers. This individual is responsible for handling all general incoming calls according to Dow policy. This individual must understand, in a very short time frame, where the caller needs to be transferred. Efficiently transfer calls to SDC employees and suggest the right contact method outside of Shanghai. This individual is proficient at transferring calls to Dow personnel and in the use of the spreadsheet and transferring calls to Customer Information Group (CIG) if customer needs to purchase Dow products and do not know the sales contact. In addition, this role also takes responsibility of receptionist of Learning Center in SDC, including conference room reservation, coordinations, etc.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Responsible for handling all general incoming calls according to Dow policy.

· Efficiently transfer calls to SDC employees and suggest the right contact method outside of Shanghai.

· Proficient to transfer calls to Dow personnel and in the use of the spreadsheet.

· Transfer calls to Customer Information Group (CIG) if customer needs to purchase Dow products and do not know the sales contact.

· Adherence to all Compliances and Controls on work processe re to all and external service level Agreements

· Contributes to team effectiveness through cooperation, participation and a commitment to shared goals and objectives

· Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
