Responsibilities/Role Objectives
The Sales Engineer Sensors has the responsibility for the growth of sales of Sensors products in his/her assigned areas.
Key Activities
? Development of new direct accounts to increase market share
? Create a network of distributors and agents specific for sensors products.
? Increase awareness, interest and preference for their product portfolio at existing and new customers and with decision makers
? Present information about new products to decision makers
? Develop and implement effective sales and marketing action plans
? Maximize target penetration, geographic coverage and financial returns by measuring sales performance
? Provide general technical advice
? Manage customers inquiries, from product offer identification to technical and commercial proposal
? Be responsible for the individual sales area performance compared with the agreed sales targets
? Keep records and compile reports on all phases of activities regarding customer interaction
? Manage sensors budgets and sales forecasts
? Provide weekly feedback and maintaining ongoing opportunities on CRM: Salesforce
? Be updated on competitor activities
KPI
? Turnover of Sensors for assigned area, direct and indirect
? Number of new customers, new distributors, monthly
? Number and amount of new opportunities in CRM, monthly
? Number of visits per customer, weekly and monthly
Technical Competencies
? Advanced Negotiation Skills
? Conducting a commercial negotiation and programming the commercial offer
? Experienced in promotion and sales activity
? Knowledge of the product from a technical standpoint and its application (preferred knowledge of Sensors products). Ability in understanding customer technical requirements
? Ability to build good commercial relation with different kind of customers (small, medium, large accounts).
? Excellent knowledge of MS Office, CRM (knowledge of Sales Force.com is a plus)
? Advanced Business Reporting

Education & Training
