Job Summary:
- Work out demand forecast both in short term and long term to comply with business develop needs, by closely coordination with cross functions, including: category, supply chain, sales, marketing, EB, finance, suppliers, etc.
- Manage full process for animation and event, maximize the sales chances, and minimize the leftover stock.
- Manage and optimize inventory structure in healthy level, control depreciation rate by closely monitoring risky stock status.
- Supplier management and development to comply with business growth needs with good quality. Coordinate with suppliers and category on return implementation.
- Budget control in regular basis, in terms of purchasing, inventory, etc.
- Personal develop opportunity, e.g. Project regarding to process optimization, NEWS, EB, etc.
Responsibilities:
Forecast Analysis
- Gather sales needs from various functions, incl. Category, animation, EB, retail, integrate into demand planning.
- Follow up sales and inventory performance in regular basis, adjust demand planning accordingly.
- Inventory management and optimization both in warehouse and store level, monitor risky stock and alert when it’s necessary to trigger joint efforts to take quick action to avoid high depreciation rate in the end.
- Generate PO to suppliers based on needs and secure supply performance in terms of delivery on time, PO fill rate, etc. continuously work with suppliers for improvement. Coordinate with suppliers and category on return implementation.
- Budget control in regular basis, in terms of purchasing, inventory, etc.
Animation and Event Management
- Coordinate all related parties and manage the animation and event activities along the year.
- Integrate and evaluate demand for animation and event needs, ensure good level of launch and sales performance.
- Follow up the leftover stock with category team together to find solutions to clean.
- Keep in time and effective communication with all related parties.
Market Demand
- Monitor and secure the implementation / integration of demand strategies and processes.
- Identify and break down forecast by sales type, covers, sales develop, store expansion, NEWS, promotion, etc.
- Closely coordinate demand forecast with cross functions for alignment and make adjustments on variations.
Operation Follow-up
- Monitor on a day-to-day basis, trigger quick actions and follow up for accomplishment, in terms of:
Inventory level and structure (vs. sales performance)
Availability in warehouse and stores
PO fill rate
Returns
- Personal develop opportunity, e.g. Project regarding to process optimization, NEWS, EB, etc.
Sales Trend Awareness
- Understand business trend and explore develop opportunity by closely communicating with cross functions, e.g. category, retail, EB, etc.
- Drive the internal collaboration with supply planning and logistics team for business strategies on inventory and availability.
- Work closely with suppliers, on NEWS, EOL (end of life), promotion, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree or above
- Excellent excel skill
- SAP, ERP experience
- Retail / FMCG background is MUST
- Good English communication skill
- Overall picture of supply chain
