7. Major Responsibilities
A. Be responsible for developing braking components includes brake pads/brake disc/brake drum/brake hose. - 30% of time =
B. Be understand of TRW technical specification and make sure TRW requirements are strictly followed, conducting engineering change. - 15% of time =
C. Conduct in the Design Reviews with the suppliers, follow up all open issues, need to be tracked and closed. - 15% of time =
D. Evaluate supplier’s process / capabilities; implement improvement plans toward achieving Global standards. 15% of time =
E. Customer claim handling in China- 15% of time =
F. Be responsible for conducting new supplier audit/development in China for Global business. - 10% of time =
8. Key Performance Measures
? Percentage of achieving yearly product development target,
? Engineering change close date,
9. Education & Qualifications
9a. Essential
? Bachelor’s degree in process/product engineering, or manufacturing technical background.
? Excellent team player, cross functional working experience and good communication skills.
9b. Desirable
? Braking system knowledge is preferred.
? Strong Product & Manufacturing Process Knowledge of Mechanical, Plastics & Electronic Components etc.
10. Key Skills
10a. Essential
? Good in both written and oral English, Chinese
? Microsoft Office knowledge
10b. Desirable
? Computer and data processing knowledge
11. Experience
11a. Essential
? Experienced in Engineer, at least 3 years of experience in Automotive Industry
11b. Desirable
? Program management experience.
12. Work Environment
? Ability to travel extensively.
