Execution of service projects closely linked to corporate strategy in global manufacturing company

In 2016 we launched our growth strategy ‘Accelerate+’ among other things focusing on strengthening service for our clients which is also a fast growing part of our business. To support the further development of ‘Accelerate+’ we are hiring a key resource who will drive the project execution in close collaboration with our sales companies in APAC.

Enhancement of customer experience and grow service business

To ensure our growth ambitions we have launched a fivefold growth strategy where the first part is strengthening front-end namely sales, service and supporting systems. The goal is to create an organization that performs second to none within field service where further development in APAC is strategic focus.
 
To support our Global Service Director we are looking for a skilled Service Excellence Manager whose responsibilities will be:
- Support the Service Maturity Assessment project in APAC
- Execute the 2020 Service Growth action plan, as an outcome of the above
- Support the Service development in collaboration with the General Managers and Service Managers
- Develop Global service tools and deploy best practices within APAC
- Deploy and follow-up the Service Transactional NPS results and customer satisfaction recovery process
- Drive commercial service activities such as an APAC/Global service contract campaign

The Global Service department reaches out to the entire organization, supported by regional service excellence managers. The APAC Service Excellence Manager will work closely with all sales and service entities/countries in Asia Pacific region, and with other global departments such as Customer Care, Sales, Marketing, Global Operations or Finance.

Experienced profile from Sales & Service

You hold at least a master’s degree in Business, Engineering or similar and have a minimum of 3-year experience in Sales and/or Service and/or Customer Care from a large complex company. It is considered an advantage to have executed large scale Sales and Service projects. Further you have demonstrated success in defining best practices and continuous improvement.

You are fully proficient in English in speak as well as in writing and excellent ability to make presentations in Powerpoint and create documents in Adobe, Word and Excel.

As this is a role that reaches out to APAC region, you must be able to travel about 40%-50% time. The position is based at our APAC headquarters in Shanghai, China.
