Broad Function

·Establishing sales and marketing strategies for the different market segments in the China region to achieve the defined business.
·To build organizational capability by upgrading leadership talent.
·Realizing a sales increase, by maximizing the margins for the core business and by promoting business growth.
·Focusing on strengthening the links between sales and customer service. competitive advantage lies in excellent service and focus on partnerships. Customer Service is crucial role and considered to be the key to repeat business.
·Planning and implementing the introduction of new products together with the General Manager.
·Regularly reviewing actions and control for accounts receivable and credit control.


Principal Responsibilities

·Leading and developing the Sales and Marketing team, covering sales, customer service, marketing, business development and technical support (TS). Most of the Territory Sales Managers as well as the Sales Managers are located in home based offices.
·The sales represent the entire product portfolio, which is currently empty hard gelatin capsules, the growth including Vcaps & Licaps, and machines & equipments selling.
·Playing a key role in further structuring the newly developed business development department, comprising operational marketing linked with business development and specific projects.
·Supporting negotiations with key accounts, and being out in the market on a regular basis.
·Guaranteeing excellent customer service levels, by actively interacting with Quality, Supply Chain, and other departments.
·Interfacing with VP Global Sales & Marketing to track progress against established Plans and to revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions and identify future risks and opportunities.
·Ensuring that information flows to the Field Staff, the Customer Service Group, CTA, Business Development, the business operations, the Operations and QA Group and to the manufacturing facility in general.
·Initiating and supervising Marketing Research activities to identify new sales possibilities.
·Ensuring full compliance with all policies and procedures, as well as full compliance with all local, provincial and national laws and regulations.
·Establishing performance standards, appraising performances and recommending monetary bonuses and merit increases in accordance with guidelines, as well as staffing recommendations and decisions in consultation with the General Manager.
·Being responsible to ensure health, safety and environmental standards are maintained and comply with Compliance and local law practices

Position Requirements
·The minimum of a university degree in relevant field, ideally with an MBA
·at least 6-10+ years of progressive management responsibility in a multinational environment, of which 3-4 years will have been in a senior management role
·Effective implementation skills in relation to building management systems, including recruiting, objective setting, training and coaching, performance measurement, and career development.
·Ability to manage and coach personnel.
·Basic business and financial knowledge, e.g. P&L, overhead, DSO.
·Good computer and prioritizing skills.
·Excellent English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
