Tools & Testing Engineer(美国医疗设备行业巨头,新建亚太区研发中心,薪资优厚,有海外培训机会)

Reporting line:
R&D department, Tools & Testing Manager

Summary:
The goal of the testing and tooling group is to participate through all stages of concept and product development, from design to transfer, and to help build in methods to troubleshoot and test, as well as design and run different simulated user scenario in a controlled environment. This shall take place at both the code/electronics implementation level as well as at the user interaction level.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Implement the quality plan to ensure the quality of the products from the beginning of the product design circle to the end, which requires the effective and harmonious communication.
Follow the construction plan of the simulation and testing lab, to work with vendors to build the lab, and be responsible for the day to day running and maintenance of the lab.
Supporting product development efforts by participating in the system architecture design process, contributes to the completion of quality plans, reviewing design plans, and ensuring appropriate control plans are provided for design transfer
Ensure that the Project documentation is current and accurate.
Attend the team meetings by preparing the agenda, project updates.

Job Qualification:

Education:
Bachelor or above in engineering or scientific discipline.

Experience:
Bachelor's plus a minimum of 3 years with product design (software and/or electronics) as well as product testing and troubleshooting; And the electronics and software experience in one or more of the following areas is required:
Wireless Systems
Cellular Modem Systems
Mobile Applications
Medical Informatics Systems (HIS, CIS, xIS, HL7, DICOM, etc)
Hospital IT

Subordinates:
Lead an engineering team with about 5-7 members.

Summary:
The goal of the testing and tooling group is to participate through all stages of concept and product development, from design to transfer, and to help build in methods to troubleshoot and test, as well as design and run different simulated user scenario in a controlled environment. This shall take place at both the code/electronics implementation level as well as at the user interaction level.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate as a member of the product design team to ensure the quality of the products from the beginning of the product design circle to the end, which requires the effective and harmonious communication.

The manager is responsible for the design and creation of a simulation and testing lab, to work with vendors to build the lab, purchase the equipment and oversee its installation, and be responsible for the day to day running and maintenance of the lab.

Supporting product development efforts by participating in the system architecture design process, preparing quality plans, reviewing design plans, risk management & validation processes, and ensuring appropriate control plans are provided for design transfer

Ensure projects remain aligned with the project plan by anticipating and addressing any resource conflicts and addressing low level problems as they emerge.

Ensure that the Project documentation is current and accurate and manage documentation and communication needs for the project.

Support Team meetings by preparing the agenda, project updates, taking meeting minutes.

Able to independently determine and develop proactive approaches to solutions.

Train and mentor team members in specialized area.

Job Qualification:

Education:
Bachelor or above in engineering or scientific discipline.

Experience:
Bachelor's plus a minimum of 7 years with product design (software and/or electronics) as well as product testing and troubleshooting; or Master's plus a minimum of 5 years relevant experience; or PhD plus at least 3 years experience. Education in a Technical or Scientific discipline required. And the electronics and software experience in one or more of the following areas is required:
? Wireless Systems

? Cellular Modem Systems

? Mobile Applications

? Medical Informatics Systems (HIS, CIS, xIS, HL7, DICOM, etc)

? Hospital IT

Skills/Qualifications:
· Project management skills.

· Effective planning and organization skills including the proven ability to work against multiple objectives simultaneously.

· Prepare audience specific reports and communications.

· Excellent knowledge of project planning and management products such as MS Outlook and Project.

· Translate communicated ideas into robust project plans.

· Detail oriented.

· Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills (Mandarin/English).

· Ability to establish and maintain a trusted role with the various stakeholders in coordinating multiple functions across the organization.
