Day to Day Responsibilities:
Efficiently and effectively provide pricing process management and support for Corning Life Science’s pricing function as it relates to annual pricing; pricing operations; special pricing; and regional pricing analysis.
? Pricing Analysis and Development
? Develop subject matter expertise in the Model N pricing system
? Develop understanding of system functionalities and identify areas for improvement (define requirements to IT)
? Support the development and refinement of pricing strategy
? Work with Pricing Supervisor to develop a competitive pricing process
? Prepare presentations
? Develop metrics and measures to track implementation of pricing strategy
? Perform analysis of pricing data from various databases, including Pricing Analysis database, Pricing System database, SAC, etc
? Report monthly on progress
? Support of Pricing Policies
? Monitor compliance to pricing policy rules and report performance
? Process c contracts, adjusted cost agreements, and direct quotes, which includes informing customers and sales reps of pricing or contract issues
? Maintain customer-specific pricing files (including government customers)
? Support the development and refinement of pricing policies
? Work with Pricing Supervisor to define policy and pricing structure processes
Education & Experience:
? BS / BA required
? Demonstrated analytical skills
? Advanced organizational and planning skills
? Advanced spread sheet skills (Excel)
? Ability to handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
? Ability to perform independently and initiate problem-solving
? Experience in commercial function and /or business process management a plus
? 2-4 years of experience
? Strong communication and presentation skills
Required Skills:
? Work experience with business management software / systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, SAP).
? Work experience with similar products or in the division’s industry.
? Work experience in an analyst role.
? Work experience in a role requiring extensive use of Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
? Able to work independently
? Detailed oriented
? Writing skills
? Communication skills
? Fluent in English
