POSITION TITLE
Field Operations Manager
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Report to: Industry & Energy Commercial Leader, China
Job Purpose: Manages the China field service function of I & E segment ensuring quality equipment and competent manpower are available to satisfy customer requirements.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for maintain adequate resources, stock levels to meet customer requirements, business plans and schedules to obtain maximum of utilization from equipment and manpower
- Ensures the highest standard of service is delivered to customers through timely delivery of quality equipment and competent manpower
- Ensures professional technical quotations are issued to customers
- Develops and supports initiatives to reduce processing costs and process improvement
- Manages the service delivery process to ensure up to date and correct information is available for accurate invoicing
- Closely liaises with sales team re work schedules and progress
- Developing the technical service team and deals with Site Technician issues as they arise
- Maintains quality, safety and environmental standards and takes any corrective actions as required
- Maintains a high standard of tidiness within own work area and ensures all those supervised adhere to the highest standards
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree in engineering
- At least 5 years hands-on experience in engineering services business
- At least 2 years onshore/offshore site experience
- At least 2 years experience in people management role
- Oil & Gas industry & onsite project management background preferred
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
- Fluent in both written and oral English
- Goal-oriented
- Team player
- Self-motivation
- Good communication/social skills
