Job Duties
1. Provides strategic direction on specific HR areas and acts as specialist for the function.
2. Initiates communication plans and conducts actual roll out’s of HR initiatives to line managers and employees.
3. Represents the RM team in all committees, meetings or congregation and deputies Head of HR when required.
4. Works closely with China Management team and Ensures internal HR policies, procedures and processes in employee relations are aligned with business requirements and keep current on evolving legal requirements that impact the company.
5. Conducts new staff induction, “Talk to Staff / New Hires”, exit interview and counseling to disseminate message from HR / China Management and collects feedback from employees.
6. Analyses and highlights employees’ feedback to management team, recommends ways to improve employee satisfaction and take follow-up action on time.
Monitors the staffing/vacancy level and works closely with other HR teams to ensure manpower requirements of business planning can be met.
7. Convey HR policies and practice to line managers and employees effectively
8. Ensure grievance management timely and effectively.
9. Uplift first line manager/people manager knowledge and skill to reduce the grievance at the early moment
10. Develop and implement a set of activities to arising engagement and enablement score
Effectively communicate relevant information to staff
11. To meet business needs by identifying suitable staff under a tight schedule
12. Effective management of multiple stakeholders’ expectations.
13. Challenge and counter business to balance the people and business agenda
14. Manage inter-functional conflict
15. To have a clear understanding of the local labour regulations and HR practice to ensure compliance
16. Manage a multi generation workforce (diversity)
Requirement
? At least a Bachelor or equivalent degree preferably in Human Resource related discipline
? Substantial experience in HR functions, preferably with team management experience.
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to relate well to all levels of staff
? Result-oriented, hardworking, independent, assertive behavior an advantage.
? Demonstrates ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
? Ability to learn quickly and transfers knowledge appropriately, understand and interpret numeric data.
? Knowledge in local labour regulations.
? Good command in English and Chinese
