Company
Our client is a growing logistics and freight forwarding company, with more than 50 years of experience. We provide our clients with a full range of services: sea freight, air freight, trucking customs services, e-commerce logistics…from and to all destinations, with a focus in Asia, Europe, North Africa and USA.

Location: Shanghai

Responsibility
？ Negotiate pricing for China export trade lanes for spot FCL rates;
？ Participate in the timely formulation and accurate responses to Global RFQs and local pricing requests with the procurement manager;
？ Assist booking allocation according to the contracted space protection and in accordance with the procurement manager guidelines;
？ Ensure the coverage of the quoted rates (China Export) upon the official award announcement: from booking release to loading on board;
？ Create the routing guide for the awarded China Export lanes;
？ Manage and update pricing to procurement management for establishing the selling strategy;
？ Upload rates in a dedicated IT system;


Requirement
？ At least 5 year’s experience in a global logistics procurement desk, experience in a shipping line is a plus
？ Strong negotiation skills;
          ？ Expertise in specific trade lanes: Transpacific, Intra Asia, Australia, East Med, Europe;
？ Excellent network with carriers at local level;
？ Proficient user in MS Office especially in MS Excel;
？ Self-disciplined and self-motivated to produce outstanding results;
？ Detail oriented;
？ Excellent understandings of ocean freight market drivers;
？ Strong operation understanding and capability to manage changes and unexpected events
