Description:
The Sales Engineer is responsible for managing the customer information, maintaining the good relationship and works as the bridge between customers and internal functions and plants to help programs and plants to keep a satisfied profitability by price negotiation and ensure customer’s payment in time.
? Customer Database maintenance including models, volumes, locations, future trend and so on
? Market environment information collection, including competitors information, political status,
? Manage strategic plan and yearly budget with the close cooperation with plant sales
? Maintain good relationship with customers
? Handle RFQs, define and apply the consistent approaches to fill customer quotation formats
? Lead the team to implement RFQA (RFQ Approval Procedure) with the support from PM, finance, engineering, logistics and plants
? Follow the prototype selling including quotations to customer and timely invoice and payment
? Follow the customer in-time payment for SOP programs
? Manage the price negotiation with customers for awarded programs, strictly follow the rules of SLC to manage customer ECRs to maintain and achieve OI target
? Lead the team & plants to review customer commercial & quality requirements before signing any contract
? Support PMs to manage any conflicts with customer when necessary
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have/be:
? Bachlor degree, master preferred
? Minimum 2 years of job experience in automotive industries
? Excellent skills at Excel & PPT
? Fluent in English and Japanese
? Strong logic in pursuasion and explanation
? Good customer sense and sensative to numbers
? Strong capability of self learning and always hungry for learning more
? Strong self motivation for outperforming
? Tough mind and self-sacrifice spirit
