Lean engineer is required to work in supplier plants:
Drive lean tools / technology training for supplier lean leadership members
Support supplier management team to set aggressive targets of “Supplier Scorecard” and improve supplier’s performance continuously
CORE COMPETENCIES
Lean Manufacturing Deployment experience
Strong problem solving competency with 5 whys and data analysis
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Lean enterprise with demonstrated ability to facilitate Kaizens using the following Lean Tools/Techniques (VSM, 5S, standard work, TPM, pull system, kanban)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate lean champions program and certificate them as member of supplier lean steering committee(25%)
Educate supplier to engage people through development of continuous improvement culture(25%)
Lead kaizen events as “Best practice” to educate team members(20%)
Identify improvement opportunities through VSM and waste observation to develop 6-12 month kaizen events plan(15%)
TRAVEL [IF APPLICABLE]
Be able to travel frequently, 50-75%.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree or above in engineering, supply chain, operations or equivalent combination of skills and experience
Good skills at communication. Advanced level in excel and PPT
Fluent English and Mandarin communication
