职位描述：
Code new telecom & networking product features and interface into switch chip vendors
 Assist specification of features required for new switch chip firmware developments
 End of life re-design, New vendor qualification, and Design related issues found in Manufacturing or Field
 Debug and validate firmware design, system level debug and root cause analysis
 Able to design and apply patches to source code and drive correct remedial action through S/W vendor
 Control and maintain source code and SDK versions across projects & customer base

Person Background:
 Typically, the following essential qualifications and experiences would be requested:
1. Be responsible for embedded network element software/application development for Optical Transport product.
2. The development activities include system requirement analysis, firmware design and review, implementation and code review, unit test and integration test.
3. Development will focus on TCP/IP Protocol, OSI stack,DHCP, Radius, IP forwarding,PPP, SNMP, FTP, NTP, OSPF for layer 2 and layer 3 functionality, SSH, etc.
4. Be responsible for communicating with testing team to solve issues identified in system integration test phase.
5. Work as agile mode with feature oriented for both development and testing.
6. Be responsible for investigating field issues.

Qualification
1. A minimum of 3 years’ working experience in the area of telecommunication or networking’s product design and switch chip SDK development;
2. Proficient C and C++ coding experience with good OOA/D experience;
3. Experience with real-time debugging and testing in an embedded computing environment: TCP/IP, UDP, PPP, DHCP, OSI, SNMP, OSPF, SSH, etc.is preferred;
4. Linux Kernel experience is required;
5. A minimum of 2 years experience in development of Broadcom or Marvell,etc, switch chip SDK is required;
6. Knowledge of NOS,TL1 and SNMP is preferred
7. Good reading and written English;
8. Good verbal, interpersonal, and teamwork skills;
9. BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent.

 In addition, knowledge of the following would be desirable:
a) Strong electronics design and debug skills
b) ICE analyzer and oscilloscope familiarity
c) Network, Ethernet, Hubs & Switches, LAN config, Server admin etc.
d) Ability to self-install various operating system such as Linux, Unix, Windows Advance Server & Windows XP etc. 举报 分享
