Our client is one of the biggest electronic components manufactures in the world.
Reporting Lines汇报关系:
Report to: Head of R&D (Foreigner)
Subordinate: None
Key Responsibilities:
In general is responsible to handle the activities of Power Laboratory for the assigned products and its interfaces with other departments and factories, targeting new products and customers, new applications, innovation, quality performance and cost reduction.
1. Carry out the types tests defined by Product Development Engineers and issue the Test Report with results.
2. Prepare capacitor samples tests and provide the sample test certificate to customer.
3. In charge for elaborating of Working Instruction of Lab Test equipment.
4. In charge of testing alternative materials targeting cost reduction, product innovation and quality improvement.
5. Prepare type test plan accordingly with tests requested by Product Development section and Annual Product Audit Plan from QA.
6. Responsible to organize and record the Test data, Type Tests Report, Samples Test Certificate in specified path of the company’s system.
7. Carry out daily check-list to assure all tests equipment are running as per requirement: Identification of tests displayed on door of each equipment, test parameters are settled corrected, the output test results followed, equipment in good condition and clean, the maintenance equipment been done as plan, equipment out service with maintenance application issued, etc.
8. In charge to issue risk analysis for equipment of Lab.
9. Provide training for technical people for proper operation of tests equipment in special with safe requirement.
10. Ensure that all equipment in Lab are equipped with the necessary safe protection again electrical shock and without risk of injure for himself and people that are working in Lab.
11. Responsible to confirm that only person trained and qualified is deputed to do the Lab activities.
12. Responsible to provide all protection devices and ensure that everybody working in Lab are using : High voltage insulation gloves, safety shoes, ear and eyes protection when will be required.
13. Prepare the Investment application and place order for new equipment as per planning.
14. In charge of interacting with PD team, Global R&D, PE, QA, Production and Maintenance in actions to type tests in Power Lab. Support other departments in training and in continuous improvement activities.
15. Ensure that the key performance indices in the department are under control, providing reports and planning/implementing actions to cover gaps.
16. Ensure that all activities in this area are performed according to approved instructions and documents.
17. Manage the team reporting to him/her to cope with their assigned responsibilities.
18. Comply with company regulation.
19. Comply with state laws and regulation.
20. Other job which arranged by the superiors.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above, majored in Engineering (Electric/Electronic preferred), Physics or related sciences.
2. Minimum 3 year’s electronic testing experience.
3. Good English and Chinese Mandarin.
4. Good communication skills, to convey ideas and conduct technical discussions in both languages.
5. Usual knowledge of MS-OFFICE, AUTO-CAD.
6. Quality and Development tools (DOE, FMEA, 6 Sigma, and so on)
7. Power electronic laboratory equipment.
8. Familiar with type tests of International standard like: UL 810, IEC 60831-1/2 and IEC 61071/1/2.
