ABOUT DIRECT HR:
DIRECT HR IS A PREMIUM CHINA-FOCUSED RECRUITMENT FIRM SPECIALIZED IN SUPPORTING LEADING EUROPEAN, AMERICAN AND CHINESE EMPLOYERS WITH THEIR TALENT ACQUISITION IN CHINA.
Client:
Leading manufacturer of Heavy machinery in the world.
Salary:
Competitive Salary (depending on experience)
Starting date:
As soon as possible
Location:
Qingdao, Shandong Province, China
Reporting to:
CEO
Travelling:
1 time per year to Germany
Recruitment process:
+ Telephone interviews
+ Face-to-Face interviews
Responsibilities:
+ Manage and improve quality for products and processes. Lead relevant functions for supplier evaluation, incoming inspection, process control for manufacturing and assembly, product audit and test
+ Lead and develop local R&D services including management of drawings, engineering changes, preparing new products' launch and handle deviations
+ Maintain and improve quality management system based on STIHL group standards, customers' requirement and ISO standards
+ Coordinate the internal and external audits of management systems and lead management reviews
+ Ensure the fulfillment of improvement actions defined after audits and management reviews
+ Assure, control and improve the quality processes and standards to obtain sustainable higher quality standards
+ Prepare required quality reports and secure all necessary quality data
+ Analysis of weak points, internally and at suppliers, plan and realize improvements
+ Ensures wide-spread communication of quality policy and quality objectives to all employees
Requirements:
+ Bachelor or master degree in mechanical engineering, technical apprenticeship is an advantage
+ More than 5 years of experience in quality management position in mechanical or related manufacturing industries.
+ Excellent knowledge of quality management tools and statistics methods
+ Familiar with ISO standards
+ Experience with TS 16949 is highly preferred is preferred
+ Intercultural competence, working experience in Germany or German companies is preferred
+ Preferred Professional Experience: Automotive industry experience, R&D or Engineering experience
+ Strong leadership competence, initiative, systematic, communicative and team work spirit
+ Fluent in English communication, German language will be a plus
